The generosity and vision of Special Olympics Australia’s philanthropic supporters helps to ensure that we can provide inclusive physical activity programs in school and community settings that are not only critical for children’s health, wellbeing, and social connection, but deliver additional community outcomes including:
- building the capacity of schools and community program providers to engage more children in physical education and activity effectively
- improving awareness of and access to community sport providers and facilities for children with intellectual disability and their families
- developing local employment opportunities for people with disability.
